Mayweather had already spoken about fighting Paul beforehand, vowing to hand him the “same treatment” as McGregor after being called out.

Floyd Mayweather, the undefeated five-weight boxing champion, will return to the ring in 2021 for the first time in nearly four years to take on Logan Paul, a YouTuber who lost his only professional fight.

Mayweather was last in action against Conor McGregor in August 2017 where he scored a TKO victory over the mixed martial arts champion to extend his unblemished record to 50-0.

The pay-per-view fight will be streamed on Fanmio with prices starting at $24.99 (£18.50). Prices will rise to $39.99 if one million tickets are sold before 29 December 2020 when they will cost $59.99. After 11 February 2021 tickets will cost $69.99.
